GSM Micro-credit Founding in Kenya

The staff in Kenya is heartily motivated to begin engaging with Micro-credit initiatives. George Juma has been selected as the Loan Officer for this enterprise. Members of GSSSA (Good Samaritan Sponsored Students Association) have formed the management committee. GSSSA is a group of individuals who have had the fortune to attend secondary school, college and even to the university with some or all of their tuition sponsored by Good Samaritan Ministries. They are a dedicated group now committed to "go and do likewise". George Juma is a CPA Level 1, the financial director for the GSM Secondary School as well as an auditor for the local school district. He is ideally suited for managing the finances of the MEF in Kenya. Representatives from other GSM centers in Kenya, like Bagoma and Nyandgande are also very motivated to begin a Micro-credit program in their locations. After six months of experience in Uranga, we hope to be able to move out to other locations.
