The CAV-Ishaka Management Team
Our efforts toward the Microcredit Empowerment Fund in Burundi have us teaming up with an already established Microfinance Agency. CAV-Ishaka consists of a professional staff of 8 with backgrounds in banking, microfinance, psychology and accounting. Their Office is located in the center of the capital city, Bujumbura. CAV was registered as non-governmental organization in 2004 and Certified by the Central Bank of Burundi in 2007. In a country which is exiting 12 years of civil war, they are committed to the reconciliation and reconstruction of Burundi. CAV will assist GSM-MEF by training and managing the clients, moderating business accountability groups, prepping loan agreements and providing banking services for the clients.
